The TTK problem is tied very closely to the lack of dispersion on weapons and the game being balanced around poor hit detection, now that hit detection is good (which is a good thing) ttk has dropped through the floor (which is a bad thing). aim assist and damage and other things are ancilliary to the actual issue of lack of dispersion on many weapons. Adding to this, I'm going to suggest adding similar customization options for controllers that they do for PC FPS games with the addition for digital emulation input for the left joystick while giving kb/m raw input. Give both devices a fair amount of customization.

Ok, so what happens when that imbalance is addressed and shield extender stacking still has no penalty?
Stop demanding massive, sweeping changes to the fundamental mechanics of the game based on a temporary issue. For those of you who weren't aware, that's what almost killed Starhawk, and is why it never really took off like Warhawk did. Maybe not get rid of it, but temporarily remove it until they get kb/m at least on par with controller and fix that AR exploit.
