The Lannisters don't speak for the empire you do realise....
Also we did not lose the Matari....they struck us with Gallentea help after the battle of Vak Akioth, a time where our military might was shaken after combat with the Jove.
I will have you remember the Empress herself leading the defensive fleets against the Elder Fleet halting it personally in a single sweeping display of power.....
I do not dispute the Caldari have a mighty military.....however you people lack a certain inspiration present the in the other empires armed forces.

I do not dispute the Caldari have a mighty military.....however you people lack a certain inspiration present the in the other empires armed forces. What we lack in inspiration, my friend, we make up for in both initiative and utilitarianism. We are the smallest of the 4 empires, in terms of military numbers, yet our military is the strongest. If our numbers were equal to the others, we would not be losing this war, that is the only reason the Gallente are winning. I do not doubt that your military is powerful, I have fought with your people many times. However, we Caldari had neither advantage of surprise, nor numbers, nor even superior tech when we rose against the Gallente, we had no help. The Matari had only one of those, yet your people failed. Again, this might never have happened if your people had the foresight and initiative of the Caldari, yet your leaders didn't and it did.
That last comment is incendiary and unbecoming. You fail to understand the scope of the Jovian destruction wrought on our fleets, and the destruction we wrought on the Elder Fleet.
Speaking of which I wouldn't make such comments considering the fate of the last leader of the Caldari State, who betrayed his people, sided with a known terrorist organisation, and held his people hostage.....

That was after the uprising of the Caldari versus the Gallente, and Tibus Heth got what he deserved. He is a traitor. But the leader that attacked the Jove was hailed as a hero. You don't see the Caldari saying the same about Heth, we actually agree with Ishukone on this one. Without Heth, we might have had peace. But as long as the Amarr try to assimilate cultures that don't want it, your Empire will not.
Indeed I believe his name was Emperor Heideran and he is widely accredited at the Emperor who ushered in the new laws regarding the fair treatment of slaves, as well as being awarded the Aldonis Statue for his peace keeping efforts which today are considered responsible for the relative stability and peace within New Eden.

Ah no you mean the False Emperor and Chamberlain Karsoth? Indeed, his rule was an abomination.
For their part the Matari were not responsible for their own rebellion, it was orchestrated primarily by outside forces to be, I suspect, used as a weapon against us.....our mutual enemies the Gallente are the only one who would benefit from that.....
However there is no point bickering about it since for now we are allies.
