so i'm sure every vet has had them, at least those that use proto gear and don't cry about them every day.
those battles where you have 4 proto squads and nobody is backing down, nobody makes any isk, but you fight tooth and nail, eye for eye giving no ground. those battles where isk means nothing anymore and you only want to see the other guys head on a pike.
these battles are how dust is meant to be played, and when it all comes together it's quite enjoyable.
figured i'd post what I enjoy about dust, these battles are the highlight of a good day of playing dust and it's sad that some of the players of this game will honestly never experience one. |

I agree. When I get into a match like that I actually feel like I am playing a war game and not just wandering around looking for faces to melt. I may die a lot and lose a ton of ISK but if they keep pushing and **** is going crazy I am happy.

Yeah, these close matches make this game worthwhile. I get bored if it's too one-sided.

I find I get most of those type of matches in domination where everyone is piling in on one objective

I live for these matches, they are what make the game so amazing. Our corp we usually have about 1 or 2 of them everyday when we all play together. Squad combat is what makes this game a lot more entertaining, plus the knowledge that no one left the match making money is always something that makes us feel our suit losses were worth it.

yep I actually get pissed off when I see a good squad/team on the other side, but my team isn't up to snuff to meet them, it's like a wasted battle that could of been really good. |
