Spkr, we all were new once, everyone made mistakes. Even you. Let him learn.
OP: Everyone is aware of these problems. No one except newcomers and small corps, like mine, thinks some of them ARE problems (protostomping), but that doesn't mean it's not a problem.

I can be found on irc a fair amount of the time, but our diplos can be found in Test_Diplo_Office in-game. Actually, looking for a recruiter. I have an EVE pilot that I want in TEST, for Cal FW, but don't know which corp to join.

A simple way of boosting WP is uplinks. If you are good at finding spawn locations, that help your team, then you can really rack up so WP.
A couple of well placed uplinks can even change the direction of the battle.
Also watch some of the vids on YouTube eg CEOPyrex as you can learn a fair bit from them. Agreed. But pleeeeeeeeeeese don't spam those uplinks. Look for an intelligent place to put them that is NOT up on some dumb roof or out of the way but still in cover. With scanners as popular as they are reds WILL find the uplink. So it might as well be in a good spot. Plus, if you put one on a roof top, all the blue dots on your team will bust out marshmallows and just camp there. I used uplink all the time in my first toon, I deleted him cause I realized my name was more than a bit gay. I am finally back to where he was. I used to use uplinks all the time for points and read up not to throw them into a corner because you come out of them in the same direction you tossed them. I haven't really done uplink farming this round because a. I play the free medic until I really commit to a suit and gear and b. feels like the nanite injector is way more useful than I ever knew as long as you use it when its safe and get that 200K fit back on his feet for free. (I am nice like that). But also I get more cpu/power to play with as well. I think you'll find after enough time that the needle is the least useful tool in your logi bag. Get a proto repper and some gun game and your team mates won't even die to begin with. Just sayin. I run Logi and have since I first started. I used to use needle. But 9/10 if something killed that dude to begin with it's just going to do it again and then kill you too. I actually wait for the red logi to pick the guy up so I can get a free double kill. But that said you do have 4 equipment and I only have 3 (as Amarr) and I would fit a needle if I had space for it. The proto brings them back to 80% and is probably worth it in the right situation, like you said. While I agree that there are better tools than a needle, I use it at all times on my CalLogi. I run needle, repper, scanner most of the time. I am brick tanked with a little bit of damage modding (Basic, I think) and a Toxin AR and Packed AV grenades. that is my fitting. I'll post it up here for a comparison to your fittings if you want me to....
