- The Academy was supposed to fix this. It failed. They need to extend it and make it more involved. Like a player has to try each of the things in a match (taking a point, using a turret, learning spawning tactics, etc) before earning their "graduation".
- You actually do get more SP for winning than loosing. You also get more SP based upon the values of material killed etc. There is some "super secret" equation out there that CCP uses to calculate this and more to determine what you get. They haven't told anyone what it is yet for fear of abuse probably. But more importantly, the "reward" for the non-pub matches is to either claim territory for your corporation/alliance or advance the cause of one of the Faction Warfare NPC alliances.
- Logis are mostly ok, they just need to refine the role bonuses better for both Logis and all the other suits. As for "invisible glitch" I'm assuming you are refering to a lag problem and I agree lag needs looking at first. Making the Assault more viable means refining the role bonuses better not changing slots. And ONLY the Logis should have more than one equipment slot as that is their stick and they give up a weapon slot to do so.
- I agree, they need to fully flesh out ALL the racial variants of armor, weapons, vehicles, hell even buildings and turrets. Only then will they be able to see the interactions and know what needs to be fixed/nerfed or what ever. Yes, there definitely needs to be a marketplace.
A) I agree that it's not obvious how to try out a new weapon, suit, etc. But the way they intended it was for you to BUY the AURUM version of the weapon and try it out that way. If you skill up a basic level with a weapon and then BUY an advanced version with AURUM to see how it feels as a higher level. That's what "free to play" is supposed to be about. Players paying for the ability to do the same stuffs as others only faster. I also believe that they should allow players to spend AURUM to get respecs.
- They won't ever get rid of the BPO's because it's a legacy item and this game is part of the EVE "sandbox" where any action even from day one has lasting effects to this day. They gave out Tech II BPO's in EVE Online over 5 years ago and still haven't recinded those even though they now use an Invention mechanic to make Tech II stuff now. It's not the most upsetting thing in the game. Once a market opens up and prices stabilize, you'll find that cheaper items well become even cheaper to where you won't care about the BPO items. And most of the BPO items are just Militia level items with Militia level stats anyways, so they don't provide any real advantage.
- I agree that there should be some kinda of "faster progression" for a new player. but what should it be and when should it end? You seed for 5 million SP I could create multiple accounts with multiple alts and specialize each one into a different light weapon at the proto level and associated advanced level of some armor. Is that fair for a new guy to be able to do that? Additionally, peopel that spent the time to get to the "level" that they are at want to reap the rewards for doing so. And it also provides new players with an indicator of, "see, you too can be this good if you just stick it out and stay the course." It's a brutal way to do it, but this game is meant to be more brutal than most.
