Hello guys!
We're having two Test PC matches today at 17:10 Eve Time and 20:40 Eve Time respectively against Immortal Guides and Eliters.
I'm calling them "Test PC" because we're going to test various configurations in order to make possible to find a solution to PC lag/framerate issues and we'll try to film everything.
The first one is a mixed PC, so we'll fight against people from all over the world, the second one is local, italians vs italians (just to find out if all those things happens because of lag issues)
We'll try out and check playability right after:
- Getting into PC with mics turned off (except a control group of 4).
- All mics on.
- All mics off. - Calling in the max number of vehicles.
- Recall vehicles - Spamming explosives (mass drivers, remotes, grenades)
- Mix Explosives with all mics on.
- Mix Explosives with all mics on and vehicles.
- Recall vehicles / all mics off.
- Equipment spam (outside sockets)
- Equipment spam (inside sockets)
- Equipment spam and all mics on
- Equipment spam, all mics on and explosives.
- Equipment spam, all mics on, explosives and vehicles.
We'll upload videos as soon as possible. If you have any other idea please let me know.

That's why I always supported a PS4 port. But we all should understand that player base is here on ps3 and there are not much ps4 owners, plus, they'd need to rework (better this time ;) ) the entire game. I'm pretty sure they can do it on ps3, and then start working on much larger projects on ps4.

By the way: is there a way to put together 16 US guys from your side to test more? I'd like to test the same things in a 16 vs 16. Some say that Equipment spam does not affect directly your team but the other one and I have a theory I'd like to test.

I could upload a ton of PC matches where I had these issues, do I really have to? Just to show you that 90% of PC matches are like that?

To be frankly honest, I don't think they know the answer. If it weren't for Eddy responding to these posts while the normal crew is out, we wouldn't have seen a quarter of the responses we have. There is countless videos that show these things. The biggest thing that gets me is the test they did. They can literally host a match and see it for themselves, monitoring everything. In the very least, they could say what appeared to cause the most latency.
Sure yes, but it's so obvious: equipment spam and large sockets cause framerate issues. This is the first step. The second step is fixing lag or at least "balance" continent vs continent matches. For now, it will always advantage one side over the other one, and we all know that if you want a real competition you just can't accept one side to be at 20 ms latency while the other one is at 200 ms .
