Having looked at all the rifles I think the ScR should receive and ammo reduction.
Given the increase in range and its current damage profile and scope instead of ironsight, the AScR could have less ammo than the AR and CR - place it just below 300 at around 290 - 295.
The ScR has the ability to deal massive damage with charged shots. Its ammo pool can easily serve a user if the weapon is used as intended. Dropping it to 200 - 205 would be fine.

Go look up the fitting costs of the ar cr and scr I'm not even going to argue my point just go look it up Yeah the ScR is about 2.5x harder to fit than the Combat Rifle. It uses more CPU and PG, it should be better.
Sorry but that is not how it works.
Amarr suits have more CPU/PG plus the scrambler rifle has more range and damage per shot than the CR and in the case of the ScR, charged shots offer the user the ability to put out way higher damage and kill efficiently leaving them ample ammo vs other weapons.
This is not a nerf the scrambler into the ground request. This is a slight reduction of ammo to bring it in line with the other racial rifles, given what we know about them. |

@Alena Ventrallis I could agree to that as well; that would help with the spamming of uncharged shots.
As I said, my purpose isnt to single out weapons to nerf just because people are doing well but rather to bring them in line. I thought the 10% was a good first move, CCP could determine whether or not it needs to be more.
My main reasoning was that presently a judicious user could easily forego a hive for other equipment whereas with the other rifles it isnt that easy even if you are a good shot. On the AScR side, I think it just made sense to slide the ammo in just under the two other rifles. |

Actually, that is how it works. Better things use more CPU/PG. The ScR uses more CPU/PG than the Combat Rifle, therefore it should be better. Everything in Dust more or less works this way. The Amarr Logi in no way has extra CPU/PG. It actually has reduced PG. If anything, the Combat Rifle should be the worst Rifle.Instead they made an easy to fit Duvolle that does extra damage to Armor instead of shields. TBH the Combat Rifle looks OP to me, so does the Assault Rail Rifle.
Well lets agree to disagree.
IMO your argument holds as you go up a weapon scale, not across different weapons. Different races build weapons to be good in certain areas that can fit in their power envelope. I dont think CCP puts a hard and fast rule on more powerful automatically equals more CPU/PG |

The plasma cannon came out weak for whatever reason because of CCP
The Flaylock was the best Sidearm and only is now "weak" because of QQ so that point holds no merit.
My point was on weapon to weapon in a given spectrum, apologies. If you want to nitpick go ahead but it doesnt help the argument at hand to talk about heavies and sidearms.
If you have an argument why it should not get such a small nerf with respect to other rifles or why that nerf wouldnt be in line with other light weapons like the LR, Shotgun, MD, PC etc then I am all ears. |
