Ok so I tried introducing someone to Dust 514 last night, and the first comment I got when they logged on was "Why are they still talking about November events?"
There's nothing like an out of date "news" screen advertising "November Events" to remind you that there's something missing. It's quite embarassing.
Where are the december events?
What happened to the community team?
I assumed there was a giant silence in the month of November because there were going to be huge song and dance around the release of 1.7 but we've had the dev blogs and the patch notes, is there something major they're working on releasing?
A roadmap of Dust 514?
Announcement of the upcoming 2.0 expansion?
A video clip of the combat rifle and the rail rifle in action?
A peek into PvE???
Hopefully you either aren't
a) drunk
b) in a coma
I know CCP Logibro has been alive and kicking since he mentioned that we'd see December events at the beginning of the week "very soon", but since then the patch notes have fallen and we've heard nothing.
Any blue comment appreciated!!!

Actually I'm just using the forum for what it's used for - communicating with the developers of the game when there's an issue I feel they need to know about. Someone just walked away from a game I firmly back and enjoy because of an out-of-date login screen, which I find is a bit silly considering it wouldn't require that much effort to fix, and that they also have a dedicated team who is responsible for this (which I assume is the community team - cmdr wang, mintchip, logibro and saberwing). I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong and any constructive thoughts always welcome. |

Yeah CCP Logibro is pretty active on the forums. If you've ever played against him in game, you'll know he's a pretty good shot with an assault rifle too! |

Nah, meant nothing by this except that CCP Logibro (as well as CCP RaRaRa) are two devs that actually play the game reasonably well and can rake up some kills when they're in the game. Some of the other devs aren't as vicious, but I understand playing the game you just worked on all day can dampen your enthusiasm - they all fight to the death though!
