Seriously guys, that map turns into a slideshow without equipment spam. I have to ask, do you really get enjoyment out of breaking the game for everyone? Not just the other team but your own team?
Every time I play this map without fail some douche in a logi suit is spamming equipment. He'll be running back to supply depot, spamming more tiers, one by one. This crap needs to stop. Leave your crappy PC meta in PC. I have never seen so many "tactics" that rely on broken mechanics as I have in this game.
Some of us like to play the game by shooting each other, not winning/losing because you broke the game for your opponents/team.

Agree, I tried to be tactical yesterday and use my logi DS to get some guy's in there and the lag was so horrible. It was choppy as hell and impossible to fly. I flew across the map totally unhindered and suddenly exploded in the sky due to a swarmer. No swarms, no damage indication, no sound absolutely nothing. Just exploded

The ammoint of merc I come across who acctually take pride in abusing broken mechanics is almost astounding as their sence of accomplishment. In the wolves we look apon these mercs as cowards with no gungame or acctuall fps skills.
Iv had mercs bragging on mic about being able to utalise the scanner wepon glich as well as knowing certail locations to spam equipment for maximum effect. Its just sad that these folks think they are tge bees knees when all they are is scrubs who need to rely on gliches and broken mechanics to oad their otherwise fragile egoes.
I have started adding spammers and glichers to my wach list and when I come across them I just leave battle whether they are on my team or not as I simply wont play with abusers of gilches and broken mechanics other wise known as cowards.
Its gone from suck .....to blow

Well I for one will be purging equipment spam from my FW games.
There is no need for more than 2 uplinks in any location or excessive hives. If an enemy found it it would just be a flux away from scoring them some impressive amounts of points so I don't see any need for it.

Really the only thing Dust needs is an equipment bandwidth limit per player just like you have drone bandwidth in EVE. Of course different suits could have different bandwidth limits. |

I said each squad have a 3 uplink deployed at any given time max.

Excellent idea, and have modules that would increase the equipment bandwidth. And have droplink requiring a huge bandwith which scout would have a role bonus for. Then there would be no more logi mass deploying droplinks and scouts would be needed to have more than one active droplink. |

That coukd be so horrible abused its unreal. Inatead fix the rootcause. Recude effects to uplinks and nanos as a temp fix till they can be opomosied

Guilty of doing it but then another logi and myself got 4700wp (give or take 10 or 20) each as well as the other 3 guys geting over 2500wp as well. its just too much of a wp farm in that little section.
maybe domi objective should be moved to skirmish 'B' (upstairs) with the supply depot at teh bottom of the dual staircases leading upto it. that way attackers have an advantage of the supply depot and defenders have to at least push out a bit if they want to use it. |

Guess you'll have to leave the game. I know I'm on my way out. Add to this the FF mechanic in FW. I will no longer take FW seriously. I know its a slideshow but just hang by where the uplinks are concentrated and farm away, drop OBS on the uplinks, keep farming. It works a treat.

That map does have lag all on its own even without equipment spam. Other maps have spam but don't crash like this one. There is somthing wrong with that map. EVERYONE has problems on it concerning framerate drop.
The right thing to do would be for CCP to remove the map until they find a cause and fix it.
But since when has CCP ever done the right thing? |
