Maybe people who have left it on forget what it is like without it. I can immediately tell when it's on. Whether or not it actually helps is another story, but it makes aiming smooth especially when trying to track somebody running perpendicular to your sights. |

AA does not affect my Mass Driver or Rep Tool, but I have never turned the option off. So, I guess I use AA, right? |

Haha yeah I wouldn't expect it to help the MD.
I do wish it would apply to the rep tool and squad fcking orders. I wonder how many times I've missed with the defend order lol. |

I can't use the AA with the blob tactics people run everywhere. You start shooting at one guy and when the guy behind him moves to the side you're suddenly tracking him instead while the guy you were working on continues to shoot at you.
So no, no AA for me. And yes, I'm Ds3 all the way.

Haha, na, if MD had auto aim you would turn it off straight away. As it stands the auto aim or aim assist is all about where the reticle is, and I don't think anyone using MD would want their crosshairs either pulled towards a target, or getting sticky around a target as you're trying to do the usual MD lop shot. Even in CQB it wouldn't help to get direct hits on anything other than heavies due to the round being slow moving, and splash wouldn't be less effective due to the game trying to help you hit COM when you want to hit the ground/wall. Sorry to burst your bubble 
Edit: OP I run HMG mainly and switch assist on and off with no really noticeable difference. In CQB now and again it interrupts my tracking an enemy when another enemy runs in front. It has definitely been toned down though in a nicely done ninja style, with CCP keeping a good poker face through it all |

in the older build with Aim assist I used it but didn't notice a huge difference
the best way to test how crazy the auto aim is now use the charge up SCR, while charging and not firing the aim will literally just move on it's own. and I was a huge defender of the new "auto-aim" I made a high defense post that got 60 likes as crazy space, well that was foolish of me, becuase the aim does move on it's own.
Use the charge rifle and test it your self just don't shoot at people, you'll see it.They should of brought back the friction from beta *which worked and no one complained* but not added in the auto aim... |

I've already played with KBM and even if it does has a LOT of issues, i score a 95% Headshots with it. So , I still think im being fair playing with AA. I feel im cheating with mouse......... Mind sharing your settings so I can actually fight the guy in front of me instead of randomly doing pirouettes at the slightest movement?

Have used it early when it was intorduced to test it and form a opinion on it and a few PC battles as if anytihng can help with frame drops and lag of PC its a assist right but for the other 99% of the time its off as i feel i dont need it where as newer plays might if i abuse it the id be as bad as the protostompers. |

Turned it off about a month into open beta, turned it back on around Uprising 1.3 or 1.4 ,forgot. Biggest problem is the group thing where you aim at one person, but it drags to another person as he just passes by. Will turn it off soon since my aim is pretty bad now and needs training. |

Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

The majority of modern FPS are joystick compatible and if not you can use 3rd party programs with better customization than any console FPS. Where is your god now?
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Don't understand what you're trying to say.
Is that I can use a controller on PC? Then I don't care. If for some bizarre reason I had to play a shooter on PC, then I'd use a KB/M. Why put myself at a disadvantage? Doesn't change the my opinion that I think it's dumb.

No, AA for me...I'm a KBM user.
And if anyone thinks KBM on this build is even remotely an advantage versus DS3 -- they've not used KBM, or I don't think they are being objective.
That said, the AA on Dust is fairly weak, comparatively speaking. |

Nope its really not. With certain weapons you notice it more. For me it's really easy to feel the difference. |
