I just edited a post I'd just made to correct a minor spelling mistake, and it didn't show up as an edit. "Cool", I thought.
What are the rules for this? Is it the size of the edit or the time that has passed that is important? Or is it based on whether there has been another edit in the thread?
Come to think of it, is there a "forums user guide" section somewhere that answers this?

What? I'm sorry but could you elaborate more? Edits happen when you hit the edit button. Sometimes you have to refresh the page to see the edit.

I posted. Immediately noticed the error, so I hit the "edit" button to correct it ("of" to "off"). Hit "Post".
The spelling mistake was corrected, but the post wasn't showing as edited next to the posting date/time like it normally does when editing.
