Well, now breach users can't one-shot my entire Pythons shields off... one olley from a swarmer or another FG round was enough to make me burn after ONE breach round. If that wasn't extreme, then I don't know what is, because my 1.2 million ship gone because of an overpowered hand cannon that people like the OP don't want balanced ... because, my friend, it needed to be balanced.

If you think the balance is based around dropships survival you are wrong, Dropships are balanced around the amount of strategic advantage and troop positioning in relation to ease of denial. The act of landing it's crew and uplinks on an advantageous position is worth far more than the dropship's intrinsic value.. The only real way to prevent this massive advantage is to make sure the dropship never arrives at its destination. Hence paper dropships.
Excuse me buddy, but as this games current longest-playing pilot, I think I know what a dropships role is supposed to do. When I fly a fully loaded transport dropship to get my squadmates to an advantageous position to deploy uplinks and get a foothold into the combat zone, all it takes is one guy with an assault forge gun to take my most tanked dropship down in three to four rounds. One guy. With a handheld weapon. That's all it takes. If the enemy team has a fully loaded dropship in the air, it's up to the spotter to call it out, team work to take out the threat with everything they've got, not just one dude with a forge gun, firing from up to 300-400m away. Sorry, did I say 400m? Yes I did because they're have been multiple instances where the forge gun has taken out vehicles from actually up to 350+ meters away and people have the screenshots / vid capture to prove this. I mostly fly assault dropship due to its ability to actually contribute to the team, not just deploying in high places. I can kill people / vehicles, call out targets to my squad-mates and get people to places they want to go much faster than a standard / logistics class. I also get WPs for doing so, via kills, kill-assists and transport WPs. Not just relying on transport WP's, even if people spawn inside my mobile CRU, i don't get any pay-out for that, my friend.
I am well versed in the roles a pilot should play, and I've played all of them. The only real way I can help is by flying assault, and what good is that, when one guy with a breach forge can take me out in two shots? Or an Assault forge, taking me out in three, in the same amount of time? .
