I'm not, I'm saying that in my opinion, you guys are missing out. Who cares if it's broken? It's fun!
It is not fun unless you are in only 1 v 1 engagements at 10 m with ample time in between to allow your Logi to rep you and your shields to come back up for the entire match because the one guy with the Duvolle took you below half armor.
Well, we all know how many engagements are 1 v 1 at 10 m...

Well, we all know how many engagements are 1 v 1 at 10 m...
VoV I took on multiple people at the same time. I just had to use this magical thing called cover to fight only one at a time.
Then you must have been playing against idiots.
I don't meant to offend you or anything, so don't get me wrong, but any decent squad would have 1 guy keep you occupied while another ran around behind you and killed you, then went over and revived his buddy if you were able to take him out.
I'm not saying I don't still have my moments with the HMG, I do throw it on once in a while, but I am able to perform better with more consistent results using the Duvolle AR on a Heavy and that is just sad.

I'm prof 5 in AR, SMG, FG, but only prof 3 in HMG (let's face it the prof blows anyways) and I still use it in tight maps and for fun. Heh, I just spent the last of my unallocated SP on getting HMG to level V and Prof to level III. Totally worth it :D

Take it to PC against some decent players and tell me how much fun it is.

Actually, that's exactly what they were doing. I was using my knowledge of what I would do against a heavy and applied it to counter them. I kept both occupied, lowering their health a bit by bit until they were too low to attack me and started running, so I jumped out and spreyed them both down. They had a friend waiting behind, but I could just sprey him down after I finished with those two, since it literally only took a swipe of the crosshair over them to kill them.
Then they were simply crap players who didn't know that all you have to do is stay 30m away while employing this basic diversion tactic to drop you. Heck, just staying 30 m away is sufficient in most circumstances.

As I said before, I'm using it for the same reason people use the PLC. It's fun, and it's challenging.
Sure it can be fun to use against idiots in Pubs who don't know how to play the game. I'm sure you could still have fun with the Flaylock Pistol against the same.
