If it drops after the release of the rifles, this is going to confirm my theory that SP events are only used for two things; booster marketing and gathering data on new patches.
Man, we need a test server. |

F-fun? Rewarding players for being such a loyal fanbase?!
I just want to be loved, not bribed with SP that has no meaning. :( |

I think if you look at the history of the storefront, you'll see a pattern. People who bought Omegas knew exactly to save them. Selling Omegas during SP multiplier event would have interfered with the sales of their typical boosters that, while cheaper, will sell better. People would have bought Omegas but at the potential sacrifice of not buying normal boosters for a while, which would cut into their margin.
This way, they sold Omegas fairly well and then turned around and sold their boosters at a regular rate. Booster sales typically happen after the multiplier event. |

It doesn't prove anything. If I was a game dev, I would want for the same thing. If I was a logical player, I would also like the same thing.
The problem is that they gather data and leave the mechanics 'broken' after it is discovered, sometimes for a significant period.
What I was implying; test server runs, smooth out bugs found thanks to the stress testing done within the server, release patch, event, stress test, smooth out fewer bugs. |

What a mess. |
