I'm in need of more Gallente Faction Warfare channels and while Turalyon 514 is excellent it's saturated on EVE pilots (hovers around 60 ) while light on Mercs.
Are there any Gallente FW channels out there or is Turalyon my only hope? |

I found another Gallente Channel that's mostly Mercs over pilots.
If I could somehow get those two to merge we'd have an unparalleled EVE/DUST FW channel. |

The channel is JTF GalMin DD
but from what I've see that chat isn't too organised as most people don't even post in it.
It just has a lot of DUST mercenaries in it.
If that could merge with a the Turalyon Public chat for Gallente FW then it will be a nice collection of EVE and DUST mercs.
Only issue is to get them to cooperate. |

I'm not sure how to go about making a new channel for Gal FW though. Trying to make it my corp's pubchat is perhaps a bit selfish and slightly impractical - but if the JTF channel isn't organised I'd rather have a channel which can be moderated and controlled a bit more.
Starting a new channel is probably impractical as you'd need to get people from both parties to join a chat from scratch rather than use a populated one already.
The best course would be to just make Turalyon the Gallente FW chat.
I've been doing my best to get competent people into the chat and I've got about 14 intelligent players into it and they in turn are trying to find competent players as well to join Turalyon chat.
Just a word of caution though, since I assume you play DUST you already know this but a lot of DUST players are pretty stupid, not bad, which would be acceptable but just plain stupid and lacking common sense and tactical awareness, most think every suit is a rambo suit. Recruiting in blind mass is something you wouldn't want to do for DUST mercs as that will bite you in the ass soon and frequently. (Planetary Response Organisation for example)
I don't think it's selfish btw, your chat is the best choice currently and in the Future of FW Organisation between EVE pilots and DUST mercs will be crucial in the Gallente Federation's success. |

Actually Arkena Wyrnspire with all that being said Gallente FW randoms seem to be better than Caldari Randoms and Even Amarr and Minmatar randoms.
I've seen a random assorted Gallente team Against 9 of that Caldari FW corp and 2 Ancient Exiles and the Gallente Still ended up winning.
That Victory brought a tear to my eye.
It was beautiful. |
