I don't think anybody dislikes a sniper that contributes. They are just very rare

A sniper that goes 2-0 in battle by killing two people that were hacking a node can be worth much more than someone going 15-5.

That said, guess I'll just throw on a militia sniper suit and annoy the enemy, just in case some idiot from my own team decides that I'm not doing enough and kills me in a 200k+ suit.
