CCP have introduced some deterrents for doing it but you've only got yourself to blame when some blueberry kills you in FW .. if you hadn't gone out of your way to ruin their fun maybe they wouldn't go out of their way to ruin your fun.
We all know full well certain corps will still protostomp pubgames (I'm looking at you Nyain San/War Ravens/Ancient Exiles/Maphia Clan/Rainbow Effect and probably a few more) so just be prepared to have everyones guns pointed at you if you take part in FW or better yet everyone should use scout suits and just try and get in the way of your bullets and jump on your grenades to make you lose standings with the faction.

I'll be right there with you karl, probably the only redeeming thing about being a scout is I can sneak u on proto stompers, beat there proto scanners and take them down with either RE's or my militia shotgun
hm? I actually use an ADV Amarr Assault, when there's no full squad / no or few relevant players on the other side we often use starter fits, not everybody of course. Anyway, yeah, thank you for the free PR.

Today we had 3 matches in FW against randoms in full proto, and I was still playing in ADV, while the others went PRO. Is that a shame?
Today playing with a training corp in a squad of players using characters with below 1m SP we beat a full proto squad in FW in STD gear and this isn't a squad of experienced players using STD gear with maxed out core skills this is 1 experienced player and 5 new players with low SP characters managing to beat a much better geared and sp sinked team through teamwork ..
So you were using ADV whilst the rest of your squad were using proto against a proto squad .. big deal .. beat them when your entire squad has 1m SP each and in STD gear against a proto squad and then get back to me
The difference between you and me is that whilst you stomp new players to stroke your epeen to feel worth something I get my kicks from helping new players get better at the game and trying to pass on some of the things that I have learned over the 11 months I've been playing the game .. you and your corp put short term self gratification over helping DUST grow and become the game it has the potential to become .. if it could actually keep hold of players ... If you aren't parrt of the solution then you are part of the problem .. you take advantage of poor matchmaking to stomp new players and are equally to blame as CCP for having the broken system in place originally
Anyway I'm clearly wasting my time with you and your corp as you refuse to listen to reason, I want this game to succeed so my dislike of your corp isn;t out of some self pity it is because I honestly believe that you are just 1 of the corps gettign in the way of what could be a great game
