Not quite, I think; it's not just kills that count towards getting kicked. There's also a running counter on how much team damage you've done. Do too much, and you're kicked.

Well, there is, sort of. If you teamkill too much in a match, you get kicked. If you haven't accumulated quite a bit of standing with the faction you're playing for, "too much" is 1 kill. This Karl Marx II character is saying he'll be teamkilling on alts to not lose standing on his main. Which means he'll either have to waste hours accumulating standing to be allowed to teamkill to any large extent, or he'll have to waste a lot of time creating alt upon alt to have any noticable impact (and if does the latter, he'll be able to do 1 teamkill per match, thus not affect any single match greatly).
Teamkilling is still a douche move, of course, but at least it's not just "follow someone around all match in a scout suit and cause teamkill after teamkill", like he seems to believe. |

Who said anything about throw away alts ? I have 4 different characters all with different racial gear to fight for each of the factions .. the TK will be based on what I can get away with to maintain my standing and over the course of time I'll be able to do it more and more as my standing is increased .. don't forget I said that I'll be doing it specifically against the people I hold grudges against .. not every game will involve those players and most of the time I'll play properley You seem to think I'll do it for the sake of it when in actual fact there is method to the madness .. it wont be done to everyone just a select few people who deserve it due to their past actions Right now the list stands at 17 players .. out of thousands that play this game that is a small pool so it really isn't going to be the waste of time you think it is lol
Well, ok, then it's within the confines of CCP's intention, I guess: allow some griefing for metagame purposes. Your initial posts made it seem like you were gonna constantly run around like a suicidal maniac.
In any case, your teamkilling opportunities will be rather limited, since you'll:
- Have to actually end up in the same match as someone on your grudge list in the first place
- Have to repeatedly find them on the map to be able to grief them several times
- They'll be wary of you after the first kill
- Once they're wary of you, they'll be ready to avoid your friendly fire. If you can't kill them before their shields regenerate, your first attempt will add to the damage quota you're allowed before getting kicked. In any case, you'll have a hard time tracking how much team damage you've done in a match, so whenever you're pushing for multiple teamkills within one match, you'll run the risk of getting kicked and losing standing.
- Chances are some of the people on your grief list will have done quite a bit of FW before you get the opportunity to teamkill them. Consequently, they'll have built enough standing to shoot back when you're attacking them, without risking an immediate kick themselves. If they've been giving you problems in their proto suits in pub matches, I'm guessing they won't give you less problems when fighting you in FW matches.
