So it's clear that the squad finder doesn't really fix the issue of going into a pub match of 16 lone wolves. It would be better if people got auto assigned into squads when they entered the match. |

Just have squads named alpha bravo and charlie and have them autofill when people enter
Possibly no squad leader, but computer auto assigns capture objectives(I don't know what it would do in ambush possibly a defend order on a random squad member till he dies then it picks a new one)
and whoever has most wp gets the orbitals

At least an option to auto join existing squads would be nice. Each time I join a game, I've spawned before I can join a squad and that's just too slow when you're trying to get to installations as quickly as possible.
It would also make people more away of squads in general. Not enough people squad up. |

I run solo with an alt of mine just to stack cash in ambush and better my shooter ability. But once in battle i stop and join a squad. I sometimes stay in squad a while if they're running well, or i leave immediately and join the next battle. You learn how others run, operate, and execute across the dust community. Some blatenly agree to camp uplinks... i leave that saquad immediately?! No honor to be found here. Some actually use stategy and tactics to beat much better, or higher sp, players by fighting hard and using team tactics. Encouraging players to squad up is hard to do. The bonuses for some players aren't big enough. And some just really like to run solo.

If I want to run solo, then I should have the power to just not be assigned to ANY squad at all. If I want to be in a squad, I can just form up at any time.

That's why it should be an option. I think it was battlefield bad company 2 that had the option on the loading screen. You either checked it or didn't check it before the game started, that way as soon as you're in the game is already done. |
