Right now we're thrown around where ever there is a battle in faction warfare. But what if we had the option to change that? Say I stead of the random mess that it is now, players could choose to book mark a specific world, and defend/ attack it when a battle is enunciated in faction warfare? This way certain corps can dig in, and make stand on where they want to begin their conquest.
Once a world is booked, the player Will receive a pop up when The world they booked is under attack. the pop up DOES NOT freeze the player from whatever he or she was doing before it popped up. Think of it like red letters at the top right of the screen, or a little yellow window like what the original ob notice looked like. At this point the player van jump to the neocom and click a button on the battle finder that'll allow them to join that specific battle, or battles that are happening on the world.
This notice can show up during pub matches as well.
Using the faction warfare tab while your world is under attack still operate as it does now by sending you to a random battle. Somewhere in fw space. This new tab is simply a smaller edition to it.

Bookmarking sounds like a good start.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Not being able to direct your efforts in Dust is a big problem on the Eve side. The FW dudes in Eve focus their efforts on a few solar systems at a time and really, really want the Dust modifiers there to start shifting in their favor. It really cuts down the enthusiasm for working with the Dust side when you're coordinating with a squad to give orbitals. You end up fighting in systems the pilots don't currently care about, or are so far away they can't make it there in time to bombard.
I don't know if bookmarking is the way to do it, but we need some way to direct our efforts. Being able to coordinate the blitzing of a system in space and on the ground at the same time would do a lot to push integration. |

Or we could bring things back like they used to be.
I remember being able to find a specific battle on the Starmap and Que-up for that battle. That way I got to pick which battle I wanted to fight and where I wanted to fight. Though to be fair, there were far fewer battles back then.
I can still locate the battle on the starmap, but I just can't que for the battle. I think CCP should change this to the way it was before.
But I don't want it to be a primary focus. CCP already delivered more than expected with 1.7. The only thing that I wish now was that it was Dec. 10. And I have off that day?
I'm in for some fun times ahead.

I like this idea. It's not perfect, but it's a start. We need some way to help Eve Online players better coordinate with us. By the way, OP, have you considered posting this on the feedback section of the forums as well?
