I am not. I definitely am not looking forwards to twats with ISHI assault FG waiting until I retreat to rep them trolling me with one single traitorous shot.
Still I heard Racial HAV, If CCP actually keeps those racial HAV to Gallente Caldari and does not expand them to the other two races......**** if going to hit the fan.

The new FW has caused me to inquire about Caldari factions. Just over the past couple of weeks, I have met players who I hadn't even known about who have alliances and Caldari corporations that has been existence for quite some time. It's great to read about like minded passionate players who share the same dream with you.
So just from that buzz, FW 2.0 has my attention. I have been off for a couple of weeks but I returned to get those warm up matches going and to prepare for FW. Even I'm considering corporation changes to align myself with those who pursue the same goals.
So yea, I'm liking the changes. It's avenue that I wanted so much with Dust. That avenue of affecting the New Eden universe and seeing how you stand amongst it. That's pretty cool.

These changes are awesome and a good step forward. I expect there will be significant tweaking around the friendly fire issues that are guaranteed to arise, but should gradually be ironed out over the next several months. I'd really like to see the OB LP payouts in EVE be fantastic so there are tons of pilots overhead battling for orbital supremacy.

I would love for every person that throws hate at devs and this game to put themselves in the position of the developers and try and do what they do. Seriously, if you are gonna criticize, target it at "CCP" and tell them to help Dust more and tell them to support the developers more and give Dust more developers. I have seen some personal insults towards devs on this forum and it is a disgrace.
Keep up the good work devs, I may have taken a months break but i'm coming back once I get my ps3 sorted! xD |

LOL This thread is kinda like thanking that girl you hoped you could lose your virginity to.
"Hello, I would just like to thank you for maybe taking my virginity."
Its a little premature if you know what I mean.
Especially because you never know what is under that skirt until you lift it up.
So far I have not liked what I have seen every time CCP has lifted up her DUST skirt.

Exactly my point!
So why are we thanking CCP for something that we have not tested yet? Kinda weird. I predict a 2 month cluster fuk in FW while CCPFoxLag and Team TruLag try and figure out WTF just happened.

Because we honestly appreciate that they are making changes to FW that are welcomed. Not being a ****, but I thought that's why people said thank you...to show gratitude. A sort of "cheering on"... |

im actually kinda shocked that people would actually come into a thank you thread and rag on anyone trying to show apreciation for the devs work.
its clear you like the game and you care about it becuase your still here, still playing, and still posting on the forums.
some of us actually understand the amount of work it takes to put things like this together, and to have it magically show up for us when we were prepaired to wait a few months for it is amazing.
its very likely that ALOT of long hours and late nights went into this, thats alot of time they are spending cooped up in front of a moniter writing code, debuging, scratching their heads, finding interesting ways to fix difficult problems, and so many other things.
game programmers and dev teams are usually subject to "crunch time" near the end of a production cycle where they work insanly hard and long hours to put the finishing touches on a game to meet unreasonable deadlines. Dust has that Crunch time ever month now, as they scramble to put the finishing touches on a patch to meet a monthly schedual.
its insane to imagine that you wouldn't want to thank someone after they put all that hard work into something you enjoy. |

Not ragin on anyone, just kinda makes me LOL is all.
So okay here goes.
Thanks for the FF. Now I will be able to shoot worthless redline snipers so thanks.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to FF a tank pilot so that I can steal their million ISK tank.
Thank you for giving me the ability to jump in front of tryhards while they are firing in my BPO suit and getting them kicked from FW for the rest of the day just because I can.
Thank you for making proto stomping in pubs an even bigger problem than it is now.
Thank you for not allowing group deploy in FW 2.0 because you still can't figure out matchmaking.

I appreciate the fact that I am stunned that the Factional Warfare overhaul was beginning in 1.7. I was preparing under the assumption that I wouldn't see the beginning of it until 1.8. But man, CCP surprised me. You guys must have really worked overtime to get this into 1.7 which honestly might explain the silence.
Silence is golden after all.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.
