I foresee many many many tears from dumb blueberries who accidentally OB their team mates and end up getting booted from the match. 
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Friendly Fire? looks like they put some thought into this at least, but griefers are gonna grief... make alts, and just **** all over this game mode because they "can". If I'm getting attacked by a friendly and I retaliate its gonna hurt me, seems like a lose lose.
its going to be an adjustment for sure, i forsee a few dedicated griefers, but that fits with the universe of eve and im willing to find new and interesting ways of dealing with them without hurting myself. its going to suck when they blow up my remotes and kill themselves though
Pretty much this.
In Eve Online, there is this annual event that went on for five whole years straight with the last one being in 2012 called "Hulkageddon". It's basically a blood sport for griefers looking for an excuse to attack innocent mining ships in high-sec space. Of course, there are penalties in place to punish those who attack in high-sec space without provocation, but the most dedicated griefers know how to circumvent the system.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

I appreciate the fact that I am stunned that the Factional Warfare overhaul was beginning in 1.7. I was preparing under the assumption that I wouldn't see the beginning of it until 1.8. But man, CCP surprised me. You guys must have really worked overtime to get this into 1.7 which honestly might explain the silence.
Silence is golden after all.
