I don't really get to use my Proto Minmatar Logi suits anymore, but my most effective suit is a shotgun+scanner+ Dampners.
I run all Shield Extenders
2 Complex Dampners,
1 CPU EXT.
1 PG EXT.
I fit my equipment first, weapon last, so;
Equipment- 2 scanners, yes 2.
Proto Focused scanner- You'll get some ********* that try to be sneaky, you'll need this to get an idea of where they are, they will not be highlighted for long, and the recharge takes a very long time, so you need to be smart about using this.
Proto ? scanner ( The one that highlights enemies for 25 Seconds)
Your Choice of Hive
Last slot you choice, I can't remember what I use my last slot for, I think it was Proto Needle, or a Uplink.
Weapon- Highest shotgun you can fit.
This suit will leave you with no support most of the time, so you must not get caught under any circumstances.
You need to listen to the sound effects, there's a sound a weird sound made when someone spawns.
If you try to take objectives like a CRU, many times enemies will spawn behind you.
Take on no more than 3 Protos at a time, even with a Proto Shotgun, some of these guys are just not dying in 3 shots, you could try to shoot there head but good luck, after the first guy they'll be moving.........
Your Shield is not very high, and you have little armour, you cannot engage in 1 on 1's unless you have no choice.
You must flank, if you get spotted you must run away until you are hidden, remember to keep your scans up.
The aiming with DS3 is very slow, even at 100, you're at an disadvantage to M/KB players, you will lose a lot of strafing encounters, or if they get to far from you, so that's why I emphasize stealth.
Stay away from morons who have no Dampners equipped, they'll get you killed.
Lastly, good lord, what are the names of the public chats for the top Dust corps? I use squad finder, but I keep seeing tards there, I scan, I flank, I don't die much, but I can never find any good teammates, when I face other shotgunners I need a team......So can anyone list some good chat names from good corps? I'm tired of having bad squads.
