Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

More likely just allows more to be deployed at one time.

Prox mines barely work anyway. even if they damage shield and armor they actually have to explode to do damage. something which the current prox mines are terrible at |

Flux prox explosive might have larger blast radius, but I doubt it will do shield only damage. Would be nice variant though. Combine it with regular mines and you have a perfect solution to shield tanks.
Agree on prox mines needing better activation.

Probably just back-end preparations for a future expansion, though if FoxFour does have this really big devblog coming out soon than it might hint as to this being a thing for 1.8

I have to say I don't think I want to see regular explosive anti-infantry proximity mines in Dust at the moment, but flux ones would rock. |

Apparently the Amarrians have taken to making Caldari weaponry with the 'Imperial Guard' Viziam Forge Gun.

Am I the only one mildly happy about the drone hive, it shows there are more stuff than thought for PVE in CCP's database than just the Drones model.
Fix the Plasma Cannon and increase direct damage 2x, it's a AV and AI weapon not AI-Have a PS4 so...

Amarr and Caldari are allied, so its not unusual for tech of one side to wind up on the other until the others can catch up on their own. For example Amarrian subfaction known as Khanid has a massive love affair with missiles, a weapon generally slated for Caldari uses.
