Armor repping via hives definitely needs to have reduced rewards, as well as recover less HP. Armor is already far better that shields WITHOUT armor repping hives. As for points gained with armor repair guns.... I could maybe see reducing the rate of point accrual, but I definitely wouldn't go so far as to turn it off. Some people have no gun game, far be it for me to take away their ability to get rewarded for helping out people who do. Edit: And hi LHughes! o/ Fix TTK!!! MATARI PRIDE!!! Mass drivers and grenades are a must in domination these days because the spam is so bad from the other side. And in all fairness, splash radius and RoF on MD's needs to be toned back a tad as well. I can understand an assault MD having a high RoF, but the standard is way too fast for it's potential DPR with damage mods (especially at the proto tier, even the assault @ proto has far too high potential DPR with damage mods). Guardian Bonus gives 20% bonus, even if every single WP was earned inside a guardian bonus it would only equate to a maximum of 20% Uplinks, can be used abit but I doubt squads are earning 1 or 2 Ob's solely from them Tanks are ** atm so not to much WP farming from them but yes, Vehichle kill assists shouldnt exist. You need 50kills to earn 1 OB.... So yeah, don't mention my Duvolles, or my grenades ;)

And its 40% towards an orbital.(you assault guys think only of yourself).

I'm squad leader because I prefer me and my vehichles to be green... If people join my squad that's fine. It wasn't a dig at you, I used to love the Flaylock, I'm just asking for it to be fixed

The buff to armor reppers and the buff to armor in general has led to Squads earning more and more WPs, but the WPs needed to get an OB was not increased. Its kind of besides the point. I've made, is it 3 or 4 (?) seperate threads about nades being too OP by now... I've always been good With nades, but I have never except for a few trolling situations used them to the same degree we see some use them today. Many will throw nades, and thats all they'll do. Stand on a nanohive and toss 25 of them, why not? They should get a dubble nerf, make Core nades officer Level, make the M1s proto, reduce numbers to 2 carried, and no resupply from hives, that ought to do it... Shooting a gun when you have a squad of proto against you is stupid, nades are the only option as you can insta kill, instead of shooting half of one of the protos shields off just so they can go and hide behind another proto squad member.

I adapted by changing playstyle to counter the grenades, I do not have core grenades but like my M1 grenades. I like Dust for being able to make me go through the playerlist and start trembling when I see certain players on the opposite team. Forces me to be creative to overcome the skilled players when I personnaly to not have the same skills at fps. I do not wish everything nerfed into the ground, only LHuges But those grenades, some are really skilled at precooking and making them explode in my face

I ran with my Cal Assault and a tac rifle for about a month, why? So I could use a scanner for my blind ass on a fast moving Assault suit, not the slow cal logi. The TAC ar was nerfed to such a degree that I found it to be useless, especially at range. I tried the Scrambler again and it worked, this was about 2-3 months ago. I do like to have a sidearm on both the tac ar and the scrambler With its overheat. In the end I decided to skill into the Amarr Assault suit because I really liked it, yes its good, but I first of all like the reflex sight and not least the sound of if, finally something futuristic. It might be a FOTM for many, for me it was a Natural Choice to make my intended fit work. And what do I do in the really though games? What do I use in almost every PC, what did I use in the Squad tourney? You mean 5m, which is smaller than a grenade? And a splash of 127 on proto? You find that too much? 127? Even with three complex modifiers and full mass driver operation that's only about 150 When the Miltia AR reaches 420 that's 2.8 times more. You mean you are missing nearly 65% of your shots? I myself aren't completely sure even... So today I did an experiment, go 10 games solo in EU ambush and see how good you do. With a couple of rules: I played with a normal Duvolle Cal logi fitting, using fanzy equipment. No camping or perifferee kitten play, be aggressive. Never throw the first nade, except when guys are on roofs, hiding behind cover almost dead or the rare occation were I faced a squad around the corner. (Happened twice, I got 10 kills tops with nades in all 10 games combined.) All in all not too bad, total score was 130-27 (4.81 kdr) Best game was 19-1, especially since my one death was a scout with a scrambler pistol up front lol. Worst game was 4-3, being stomped by a squad of Rainbows... Most frustrating game was going up against a very stacked team, I did 10-5, the other 15 dudes on my team had 8 kills between them. I had to more games like this, though not as bad. Note: I played very aggressive, running into groups of enemies like I normally would do with a posse of protostompers around me, I could at least have improved that KDR if I wanted, but then I'd lose out on much of the fun too.... I'll do a similar test with a full squad of tryhards and post the results here.
