Could one of you be a darling, go to whatever computer, find the relevant code and basically either turn off WP accural for armour repping, or place a cap on it.
Fed up of people farming OB's
The Dark Cloud & Orzel 102 to name some...
Not blaming them (after calming down and going outside into my garden to recover my ps3).
It's a very simple thing to fix. |

Armor repping via hives definitely needs to have reduced rewards, as well as recover less HP. Armor is already far better that shields WITHOUT armor repping hives.
As for points gained with armor repair guns.... I could maybe see reducing the rate of point accrual, but I definitely wouldn't go so far as to turn it off. Some people have no gun game, far be it for me to take away their ability to get rewarded for helping out people who do.

Agreed, and please nerf the nades already.
There are too many players with little to no gungame going around spamming them like its a ******* primary weapon.

you'd have to do away with guardian bonus, uplinks, and vehicle kill assists. You would be seriously nerfing team play, but as long as you can run around with a duvolle in a proto suit who cares right? |

Coming from you that aught to mean something to CCP lol. Mass drivers and grenades are a must in domination these days because the spam is so bad from the other side.
And in all fairness, splash radius and RoF on MD's needs to be toned back a tad as well. I can understand an assault MD having a high RoF, but the standard is way too fast for it's potential DPR with damage mods (especially at the proto tier, even the assault @ proto has far too high potential DPR with damage mods).

Guardian Bonus gives 20% bonus, even if every single WP was earned inside a guardian bonus it would only equate to a maximum of 20%
Uplinks, can be used abit but I doubt squads are earning 1 or 2 Ob's solely from them
Tanks are **** atm so not to much WP farming from them but yes, Vehichle kill assists shouldnt exist.
You need 50kills to earn 1 OB.... So yeah, don't mention my Duvolles, or my grenades ;) |

gaurdian bonus is 35 WP per kill. You are thinking of the squad order. And its 40% towards an orbital.(you assault guys think only of yourself). |

It was a stab at LHughes for continuously blowing my logi up with core locus grenades while I am farming WP by repping my team mates. A considerable amount of his kills are archived by core locus grenades, the main reason I switched to scout and stay away from both blue and red blob. Got tired og getting killed by grenades.
I have nightmares of both LHughes and 13ear and their core locus grenades. |

bruv ya mirin my great rep tool skills? And actually half of my WP are coming from scanning. Oh and by the way if you are on the other team its easy to know which red dot you are. The one with the squad leader icon (double chevron).

I'm squad leader because I prefer me and my vehichles to be green... If people join my squad that's fine.

Its quite simple really, we got a lot of new features that gave more WPs, even equipment destruction adds up....
The buff to armor reppers and the buff to armor in general has led to Squads earning more and more WPs, but the WPs needed to get an OB was not increased.
We get 2-3 OBs in a normal ambush without any form form of boosting, its just insane.

Its kind of besides the point. I've made, is it 3 or 4 (?) seperate threads about nades being too OP by now...
I've always been good With nades, but I have never except for a few trolling situations used them to the same degree we see some use them today. Many will throw nades, and thats all they'll do. Stand on a nanohive and toss 25 of them, why not?
They should get a dubble nerf, make Core nades officer Level, make the M1s proto, reduce numbers to 2 carried, and no resupply from hives, that ought to do it...
The question is however: What would players like LHughes do without this ability? Go back to LLAVing and sniping?

I actually wan't crying, OB's are fine and the WP gains are fine with me, especially in ambush. It was a question for the OP.

yeah, that too. We've been at 2,500 since squad size was 4 and we now have more ways to gain WP as well.

Coming from you who hides around a whole squad, whenever you play on your own you do gash.
Jump down off your high horse.
Shooting a gun when you have a squad of proto against you is stupid, nades are the only option as you can insta kill, instead of shooting half of one of the protos shields off just so they can go and hide behind another proto squad member. |

That would be boring indeed. I adapted by changing playstyle to counter the grenades, I do not have core grenades but like my M1 grenades. I like Dust for being able to make me go through the playerlist and start trembling when I see certain players on the opposite team. Forces me to be creative to overcome the skilled players when I personnaly to not have the same skills at fps.
I do not wish everything nerfed into the ground, only LHuges 
But those grenades, some are really skilled at precooking and making them explode in my face  |
