One new feature? New game modes would be nice.
It's getting kinda boring playing just 3 game modes. Ambush, Domination (dressed up version of ambush), and Skirmish. I don't count faction warfare because its skirmish under a different name... with a different payout. (quote CCP - SoonGäó) We already know we will be getting PVE at some point (quote CCP - SoonGäó) So I'm keeping that off the list.
Lets get us an Aerial game mode: Same thing as ambush however your redline is the only area that you can stand on. Now lets Increase the map size so that forge gunners get no play unless the enemy gets close very, very close to the redline. Milita drop ships are auto spawned in at designated landing pads which will then hold the process until that landing pad has been cleared. 3 minutes late and another drop ship is dropped in place. In another area players can call in their own drop ships if they want to use those instead of the provided ones. The entire battle field that stretches from redline to redline is a Genolution's factory runoff either into a river or holding pond at a treatment plant... so its highly toxic and corrosive (note doesn't have to be this, platforms could be at high altitude which would mean the battle field is all open air. jumping or falling out means a 30 sec fall until auto killed, this should allow a bit bigger space for the fights).
You could also make a Domination mode out this with a control node at the center or off to on side. The platform would be kinda small with few but usefull objects that could be used as cover. Now the interesting thing about being on the platform is the slight damage over time that is occured regardless of standing on the cover or in the null cannon. This will prevent uplink and equipment being used to hold that platform as well as keep players from staying on the platform for more then 1 minute. The point is to fight in your drop ship with some ground work needed to win a match but deny exploiting it by just hold the platform with uplinks, hives, and forge / swarm gunners.
Or we could have a skirmish match with a twist. The null cannons can only be hacked 3 times before self destructing. Upon the third successful hack the node will initiate self destruct protocols : count down 1 minute (or after the null cannon fires its next shot). The destruction will cause an area of effect damage radius of 30 meters for 1000hps. In the end this will force the match to devolve into a Domination match and if that is failed to be held... into an Ambush match that still could be won by the MCC's shooting at eachother. Should 3 hacks be to many it can always be reduced to only 2 successful hacks.
Any way thats what I would like it to be.. fat chance of it but still, you asked I answerd.
