So, I was in a Domination match today. The enemy called in 7 tanks during the game. 7! S-E-V-E-N!!!
And the kicker is, all 7 were destroyed. You'd think they'd stop after 3, or 4? Nope, they called in tank after tank, until the last one was a LAV Sica. Meaning that person ran out of tanks to call, or finally decided that losing 5-9 million ISK in a pub match wasn't worth it.
I spent the whole game with my Swarm Launcher, and so did my CEO. Because of that, the enemy was able to make a play at the objective, because we had to deal with 7 tanks. SEVEN!
Now, here's the part I'm confessing. I switched to my protosuit to even out the game. Not just any protosuit, but my PC suit. It's labeled "DUVOLLE Ck.0"
However, I forgot that in the last PC I was in, I put a Balac's on it in place of the Duvolle.
So, I confess. Not only did I use proto in a pub match, but I used probably the most powerful set up you could make in this game at this time. For that, I became a hypocrite. The Balac's was an accident, but still I switched to Proto. I received hate mail from a couple of players, and I couldn't find the courage to explain to them what I did.
I'm sorry. I will never do it again. As the self-proclaimed leader in anti-protostomping, I hold myself accountable.

Don't beat yourself up man. I pasted IWS last night in his redline. Then in the next match used him as a speed bump while he was waiting for his tank, which I also pasted.

Okay, that's on him. If Iron Wolf Saber wants to bring HAVs into a match against BIG BAD W0LVES, that's his stubbornness. How many tanks get off the battlefield alive against us? We specialize in AV for frick's sake, you'd think people would have caught on by now. |

I love it when the enemy brings in multiple tanks. Gives me a good chance to take my forge gun out for a walk. |

Sooo many tanks last coupla days. Swarm commando, finally got down how to shoot up through structures to a downward fleer and around buildings inbetween installations and walls to hit a tank moving uphill... Seems those fast expensive ones are gonna learn not to rush our primary drop zone. How do they get there in less than 10 seconds?

I do want to confess to needlesly throwing suits at a vayu. He must have had a blueberry with him, because he didn't recall.he just poked his head over the hill . Ihate these cowards. Called in a Maddy and chased him back into the redline. All over his was unnecessary the 3 proxys I set on the road kept him there till the match ended. I could and should have been on the line with my guys but I just had to let him know what a coward he was. |
