Neither. A good heavy beats them both hands down.
Not necessarily a slayer, but a heavy who knows how to scare the crap out of his enemies.

It was the Slayers vs. the Circle Holders (hackers/medics) Slayers win every time. Badly. Was it an objective based game mode or one where the object is to KILL KILL KILL?
It put dust to shame if you had a good outfit behind you.
256 player assault on refineries where one 16 man platoon who infiltrate and hold down the central objectives until the rest of the team arrived.
Stealing vehicles, waiting with road blocks and ambushes for an expecting drive to come by, who could dodge your ambush and make off with the vehicle.....

Only in Dust would Logi trash mistake placing equipment on a ground, as attributes of a great player. The whole Slayer and Logi relationship is not a two way street. Slayers win games not Logis Fact. Logis just make the process smoother.
This has been proven so many times before that it is embarrassing that this topic is even brought up. I'm not saying that what equals a great player is a Logi. I'm saying that all the people in this game who think they're great wouldn't win any matches without their team and squadmates supporting them. You are a slayer and you may be a great one at that, but you are dead without your gun. Without your weapon you are completely useless. You are out of ammo and cannot get to a supply depot; do you think those nanohives on the bridge just magically fell from the sky? There are great logi's, great slayers, great scouts, etc, but a great PLAYER adapts.
Nah this is ReGnYuM he has and does win games by himself... its appalling really....

If that is in fact true, then he is the exception to the rule. The rule being that the majority of players will not win games just by themselves. And if you are in fact winning games just by yourself, don't spawn on uplinks or use nanohives at all. If you get revived or someone is scanning for you, you may as well quit the match since you don't want anyone's help. You also better have hacked the objective, because if someone else did that "you" are not winning the match all by yourself even if you defended it because you weren't the one who hacked the objective in the first place. Truth. True my two best tank games were losses
52/1 and 44/0. I'm a slayer I guess but the rest of may team wasn't.....

Truth. no seriously, there are games when him/myself and others like us have actually HAD to do all that ourselves if we wanted or needed it for the game. it DOES happen, and a few can actually pull it off solo. your right though, it is an exception to the rule. but please awknowledge that quite frequantly there are players that literally HAVE to be an exception, and can manage to do so.
I do remember claiming 15 enemy tanks for the loss of one of my own in 3 consecutive games..... That wasn't why we won though....but it was part of it.

I have already acknowledged that by my initial statement that great players adapt. They do what they have to because no one else is willing to do it. Being the exception to the rule is something that you yourself make happening by stepping up.
i felt alot of anger though pointed at people who step up and win solo though. I never get angry at anyone in this game, except for people who proto stomp in pub matches. If you can't kill me in your advanced gear, maybe you're not a good player. That's how I see it. Otherwise, if someone takes initiative I will never get angry with them. I respect that. If I end up in a match where it's just me against a full team, I won't leave. I'm crazy like that.
I mean I could come and kill someone in adv gear but that's boring, why shouldn't I use proto.... I use standard tanks, proto dropsuits and Scr are my luxury.
