Hello assholes :)
Next time you decide to squad up and hit the pubstomp avenue... you may want to consider leaving 1-2 slots open and inviting those random, squadless blueberries to join you for a game. Spread the knowledge, offer them a "pubstomp free" match or two, invite them to apply to your corp or others like yours... do the community a service and spread some good vibrations through the new-berry-verse. Because if I have to read one more anti-pubstomping thread I will kill a baby dolphin. Everyone loves dolphins.

the only new berry i ever helped and that stayed was blade ernaga. He's not a new berry anymore though, but i gotta sqd with him again.

Honestly, I've tried, it just doesn't work!
Every blueberry I've tried to get to either doesn't read the chat (they must not know how) and/or can't hear us talking. The voice chat should automatically be turned on (is it already?) when a new character is created.
I just can't get to them :/ I'd rather melt them with my lazor anyway :D

Someone in my local chat brought up something similar to this. A rookie recruitment channel that the player has until they get into a player run corp, so that they can be taught about the game, as the tutorials don't go over most of the aspects of Dust.

There's one in EVE it can't be terribly hard I'm heading to bed but post it in the CPM area...

Been trying. Quite frankly, I've just been staying out of pubs. They really take fun away from the game for me. PC and FW are more fun for me.
Our corp tries to get blueberries involved, and sometimes they adhere to it well. It's nice for them to be with a winning group and may get a quick lesson about SP or something. Good to see some people haven't totally gone total ******* and just use blueberries to prey on. |

I am CONSTANTLY running the new recruits, RL friends(Noobs), Other peoples RL friends(yes really!) and pretty much everything in between!
I enjoy a challenge, We got proto stomped by AE & Rainbow effect last night in one Dom, after we kept it for about half of the match, and then we lost the match. We managed to kill an expensive Marauder and all went positive so whats the problem with that? Nothing, its a great learning exercise. Plus its always nice for the vets to throw a few DS at a strategic point to regain the upper hand, to teach the noobs to think outside of the box. I hope the AE & Rainbow guys enjoyed that fight aswell. |

funny thing is, ive been doing this for damn near ever.
I rarely if EVER lock my squad, and typically roll into pubs with only 4 or 5 people, leaving an open spot for anyone smart enough to know how to join a squad..
sometimes I meet some cool people, but I'll be honest, most barely know how to merge into a squad, much less do much more.
and if they don't get on coms, not much they are going to learn...
Common Sense and Logic are 2 things you have to forget when posting on these forums.
