Ok, two things:
1. Logibrethern have ALWAYS scored more points than anyone to make up for the lowered amount of damage they do.
2. You Protostomp because your corp has money? That 700M/day could be used better. Like helping corps enter PC or playing in FW. As a matter of fact, you could even loan money to Dust mercs to help them along, that 700M/day should be used for the betterment of Dust, not yourself. Keep Protostomping out of Pubs. It's so bad that I do BETTER in FW, which doesn't make any sense. If I'm beaten by proto in FW, I'm good, because that's the whole point. That's Lo-Sec, same as PC. However, Pubs are Hi-Sec and we need a system to keep it that way. No proto in Pub might work, but that won't solve the problem of people (like myself) who has proto AR's but doesn't use them. Would it read me as Proto? Or does the highest dropsuit dictate? What about turrets? Mods? Just keep it out of Pubs, the newcomers have a rough enough time of it as it is. They're still learning and the curve is VICIOUS. Don't make it worse. Just my two ISK.
EDIT: Also, if you're in PC, open your districts.If you're not there to fight, what is the purpose of being there.
(Sorry to hijack this thread, but I don't like protostomping. And I did stay on subject at the beginning.)

As for protostomping, I don't care if you use your gear, just keep it out of public matches. Those are Hi-Sec battles, like duels in EVE. If you attack people without just cause, such as criminals, people you're at war with, or in duels, you get instakilled by CONCORD. I just want a similar system here, that's all.

Preferably STD, perhaps ADV, nothing higher. That's what I run when in Pub's, which isn't often.
