This vehicle module acts like a limited Supply depot, resupplying both infantry and vehicles.
Logistics LAV's and Logistics dropships would get a capacity and resupply rate bonus.
Once it runs out it needs to go back to a normal supply depot and resupply.
So what it creates is supply lines, a Logi LAV could quickly resupply a tank and troops who are far away from a depot and in dire need of ammo, come back, and then go to another place and resupply them.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Logi Dropships wouldn't necessarily need the module right now. However, as aerial vehicles are fleshed out in the future, the module will already be there for usage. This would also alleviate some of the WP complaints for Dropship pilots.
If I was to modify it at all, I would take it a step further and make the static Supply Depots only spawn at the allied Redzone. This would enhance the "supply line" aspect of OP's idea, and make it easier for clever strategists to disrupt a critical ammunition run at just the right moment.
