I'm a logi and I actually dislike the 1HP/s regen per level bonus. At first I enjoyed it, but after some thought about additional content we may be getting, (especially equipment) I would rather have a bonus that enhances equipment from a general sense, without limiting the class to what we currently have now. Not exactly how CCP would code it (possibly the reasoning behind the delay from 1.3) but I'd rather have a simple flat bonus that makes logistics better at all equipment across the spectrum when they use it compared to any other suit class like more nanites for hives, better repair tool rate/range, scanning range/precision, equipment carried, and various other bonuses that could apply to future content in some way to better define what makes logistics by adding a higher incentive to play the roles implied purpose and gently pushing the player in that direction over simply forcing them to do so.
Going along with this, the other classes need their implied roles to be better fleshed out to better reinforce that playstyle through incentives as well. For example, assaults should be better defined as the generalist class that's in their description. Not particularly good at one specific thing, but their lack of any real weakness could make them effective at fighting against the other classes. Maybe by making them less module reliant than logistics through higher base HP so they can use peripheral modules like codebreakers, scanners, reppers, damage mods, and rechargers more effectively without having to sacrifice tank could better define them compared to logistics while making them overall attractive at the same time. Scouts could probably benefit from suit only abilities like hacking equipment, squad vision, proximity based dampening, the ability to hack without alerting the opposing team and maybe even a built in ability to cloak when standing still could give them a specific advantage over medium suits that they';re lacking right now since the game can't handle giving them the speed they had in 1.0 Uprising. I'm not really sure about heavies right now in their current point defense direction. Like I already mentioned, forcing a player to a specific playstyle like that is detrimental in a game build around sandbox customization. Simply bringing them back to the front line as a suppressive and/or crowd control force would go a long way along with their ability to take out vehicles with ease. Unfortunately they have the least amount of content of all the other classes to really come up with something right now but you get my point. Fix the game by making us play a role a certain way because we want to, not because we have to.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"
