DUST Fiend OSG Planetary Operations Covert Intervention 8185	Posted - 2013.12.02 00:13:00 - [1] - Quote I'm over here practically having a mental meltdown waiting for 1.7, so I figured I'd try and spark up some eagerness for the patch in the only way I know how. MEGA RAFFLE!!!! RULES: 500,000 ISK per ticket, no limits to amount purchased. All tickets must be purchased by making donations to Standardized Munitions in increments of 500,000 before 1.7 is patched onto my PS3 Once 1.7 is on my PS3, I will update the thread and all late donations will be refunded. For each ticket purchased, I will make a slip of paper with your name on it, and put it in a hat (or whatever). I will then do a video of the drawing and post it to youtube at some point on December 10, and then I will hand out prizes. PRIZES: 1st Place: 50% of the pot 2nd Place: 30% of the pot 3rd Place: 15% of the pot The last 5% is my commission for organizing the event WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOU WITH MY ISK?: Simple. I have no life. I'm on here constantly, and in game all the time. As you can see by my likes, I rather enjoy my time here on the forums, and what better way to crush that then to screw over people in the one place I come to hang out. As you can tell by my commission, I do want ISK, but I want people to get excited and have fun winning a huge pot of cash more. I just want this to be an independent thing, if people want to buy tickets, then they can do so, I don't really need "donations" so much. When searching for a corp, you have to click X when the corp shows up, not the D pad, that will cause it to glitch weird and make you re enter the name. ISK / Vids / Stream

I think I'm going to post who bought tickets in order from most to least, to give people an idea of where their odds land right now. The way I picture this style raffle is that the richer players risk more but make the pot appealing, where as those who only purchase a ticket or two, while their odds of winning aren't very good, they stand to win so much more just because of how little they put into the pot. Right now the sample size is still pretty small, but that's understandable. Once I deliver on this one and open up the next, hopefully that will start to bring more legitimacy, and hopefully I can refine the process a bit more to make this an appealing option for everyone, as well as a sustainable one for me. Just have to keep going at it (like monthly) and it will slowly grow big one day. Yea, I'm still working out the kinks. Like, I decided not to do house tickets (though I've kept all that ISK in the pot). It was kind of a knee jerk rule added after people attacked me for my 5% commission idea (which is still only 5 million on a 100 million pot, but w/e). So, for right now, I figure I'll just give someone the chance to win a big chunk of money, instead of possibly splitting up part of the prize.
