Why does it only improve the performance of Myofibrils? What is the reasoning for it to not improve base melee damage? Is there any possibility of changing it to affect base melee?

I avoid skills that only boost performance of modules. Saving those for a time when there is literally nothing left, of when suits have enough slots & PG/ CPU to make interesting builds. Right now it all just feels the same. |

Yeah, I guess it is part of the bigger problem of skills that simply exist as an SP sink.
It just makes no sense to me that it doesn't increase base melee damage.

Agreed.
It would be sweet if lvl 5 Hand to hand gave you some cool melee ability. Like a multiplier for hitting in the back!

Yeah, IDK about all that, I just want to get a bonus for SP I've spent without fitting specific modules.
I mean, c'mon, it's called Hand to Hand Combat, not Myofibril Stimulant Optimization
