Political Correctness and "Sensitivity Training" are where I place the blame for that. Well, that and the fact that you need to be careful about how you discipline your children since someone might think you're abusing them and get you carted off to jail so they can institutionalize your kid and **** them up proper.
Disrespectful, miscreant heathens, thats what most kids are these days.
I've got family members that say it started going downhill when we took religion out of schools since there is no morality lessons anymore. IDK, religion was already out of school when I got there....
Then again we also had the pledge of allegiance and didn't prosecute seven year olds for having nail clippers in their backpacks.

Yeah, personally, IDK that religion has a place in school unless you want your kid to go to a private school that teaches the religion of your choosing.
That being said, IDK that it would be such a bad idea to include things like basic, common sense morality and basic manners.
My solution to the woes of today, don't coddle the kids and teach them that manners and common sense morality aren't obsolete.

I sway everytime I here people say we are going down hill, we are not. There will always be punks, deal is now we have less punks.
Why then do I seem to only run into the statistical anomalies? I mean, it seems like most people younger than me need smacked across the back of the head and asked "WTF are you thinking?"

Nowadays it's the grownups doing all the stupid things. Just look at our world leaders, politicians, many of whom still cling to outdated beliefs. It gets worse with election season. Edit Ok, I think we strayed off... way off... from talking about Sicas to talking about politics. WTF?
The segue was the mentality of those who quit after losing a single HAV.
