I remember when the game was absolute crap with no corps, massively OP weapons and vehicles, and a game would net you 60k SP on the regular, had to pay to voice on comms., could only play on the weekend, manus peak snipers/tanks, skirmish 1.0, we kept playing because of the potential.

#OG Skirmish 1.0 was one of the few things about Replication that wasn't at least slightly annoying. The completely uncapped skillpoint gain with the 400% bonus was hilarious. I used to pull 240k+ per match with my HAVs.
Hit detection on Skirm 1.0 was sooooooooooooo bad....
When I was shooting at someone while standing on a nanohive I thought that my shots were FINALLY hitting.
LOL!!!

Cosgar wrote:I remember Replication being closest the the best damn version of Dust 514 we had. The heavy was an anti-assault with a HMG that made your butt clinch you so much has heard that beast roar. The scout the anti-heavy that could strafe and jump for days. The assault wasn't the best at anything, but could take out the other class because they had no real weakness. Logistics were kind of meh back then. (Can't remember if they got the hacking bonus or not back then.) TTK was good, strafing was amazing, and the game rewarded you for aiming instead of praying and praying in someone's general direction. Of course this was around the same time people discovered the goddamned breach AR, but the game was still fun. In fact, more fun than what we've been getting lately and we had less content and textures that would put Duke Nukem Forever to shame. (Bleh, nostalgia goggles.)
Damn I hate to say it but...
Right on .
