Whenever I look at the forums, a large amount of it is whinning. Some of it is alright, but most of it is about nerfing something, or about Proto Pubstompers. I don't find most of this stuff as bad, or needs changing. Maybe it's just me, but I focus on the ISK, not the wins or the losses.
You see, we're mercenaries. I'm a soldier of fortune, and that fortune is ISK. Sure, this kills and the wins are a part of the game, but to me they're just ways to get more money.
All the "Over Powered" weapons and the Pubstompers don't really get to me, because I see them as other mercs. Just mercs with better equipment. They have this stuff because they have been here longer then me, or have better skills then me. They are guys I either like to work with, or the guys I want to work to be.
What I'm trying to say is, nothing matters but the paycheck. If you get stomped into the ground by the opposition, it's alright if you stay ISK positive. If you are the guy in black and melting reds into the ground, thats alright too, you have worked for it.
If you think there is a problem with other players using Proto equipment, your not taking the "We fight for money" mindset to heart. |

Have fun with your ISK with a dwindling playerbase thanks to the issues you think are non issues.
Personally i'm getting tired of queuing for matchmaking and playing against the same proto stompers over and over again. |

i don't care about protostomping in the slightest. if you can afford it, then by all means run it.
i don't agree with the gallente logi, or logis in general being the best suit in the game, but it's by no means game breaking. i find that many of the people QQing about logis are assaults who are jealous of a suit that can kill better than they can. while logis shouldn't be better assaults than assaults, it's not that big of a deal. we've been dealing with Fotm for months now, if you haven't learned to combat it yet, then tough luck. i have ZERO sympathy for assaults. if you can't mop up in an assault suit, then you freaking suck.
tbh, i'm getting over the whole AR is OP thing. its getting nerfed, and when i'm on the battlefield i pay attention to the range at which the AR is hitting me and think to myself, "in 10 days, he won't be able to touch me from here.
the only real problem i have with this game is how gimped everything except an assault/logi is on the battlefield. its not a matter of nerfing anything, but a matter of buffing the clearly underpowered things in this game. then we can worry about lolbuffingassaults.
just dismiss most of the QQ you see. 9 times out of 10, it's a crybaby who wants to complain but offer no solution. and when they do, it's usually a pretty bad one.
some things on the forums you'll just have to learn for yourself.
Tell me, how exactly DOES a biscuit gain Valor?

i really hate those people crying about how gimped heavy and scouts are, so much QQ about it. if you think they need a buff, maybe learn to play first. |

There's a very simple solution that I use for this, que for a different game type (or FW etc.) generally proto stompers always play the same mode over and over until they cap, this means you could also just not play on Wednesday to avoid the first day cap people

Heavy with AR somehow takes a negative into a positive.
My Red Shirt Fit: Amarr Militia Heavy plus one Assault rifle (for the clip). Cheap and cheerful for when you know you are going to get scanned and stomped. Pair with a random berry and you can take down a stomper.
Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.
