Seriously - so many people out there using duvolles and imperials; why? Why do all you logis and assaults want quafe suits you can't even equip, let alone use? I'd understand getting just one for collectors but why more?
I was really hoping that most people would be running only advanced weapons for this event in order to get proto stuff, which would be far more useful to non-gallente scouts. Please help me understand why you all want quafe suits.
Is it because you think they're going to be rare in the future and therefore worth a lot on the market? Because that's just dumb - they won't be worth hardly anything because they're no different to normal gallente scout suits, so not even people with the appropriate skills will be using them anyway.

Do you have gallente scout skilled up? If not, you can't even equip the quafe suit to be able to wear it in the warbarge.

What people do want however, are the Quafe Suits. If you get 10 kills with a PRO weapon, you get a Quafe Suit. And those things are pretty rare.
The Quafe suits are quite possibly the rarest suit in the game atm, kinda like how the 'Black Eagle' suits were before CCP decided to nuke their value by giving everybody 50 of them.
Rare items that no one will ever use - what's the point in hording them?

No one is ever going to buy your quafe suits because no one will ever use them. They are the same as gallente scout proto suits and would only ever be wanted by collectors and hundreds of people already have 25 of them from closed beta and now it seems thousands more will have them from this event too, so they're hardly going to be 'rare'.

And consider that a proto weapon costs almost as much as a gk0, so you need to make a KDR of around 10 to get your money's worth (if you sell at gk0 price!). If you plan to sell them at 30k isk like you said you considered, that means you need a KDR of more like 20!
