Interesting question. Even the smg has it's own fitting optimization skill and just like the knives it's a sidearm.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

You'd think that with the low CPU and PG available on scouts, that those skilled in Knives would benefit from them. But sadly, no because CCP doesn't like scouts. |

I thought this was an FPS not an FPM (First Person Meleer)?
Now, if we had a gun that shot Nova Knives, now that would get a Fitting Optimization skill.
