A Minmatar Scout runs at 7.9 m/s
And a Caldari/Gallante Assault run at 7 m/s
And Amarr Assault run at 6.7 m/s
Heavies can be quick as the wind when they want to. Looks like I now know what role I'm going to be dedicating this fresh alt to pursue.

Any bricktank medium frame suit will probably cap at ~900-1000 EHP (the latter is still quite a lot for a medframe, IMO), and be brought down to be of similar- or possibly even slower- sprint speed.
The fact that a gk0 GalScout loaded with kincats can hit a little over 11 m/s isn't really impressive in that light. Sure, it's Sonic the Hedgehog fast, but Scouts are expected to outmaneuver all the things. A heavy that does 7.2 m/s sprint is a very surprising thing to find, and also requires a new approach to fight- it's more difficult to outmaneuver an opponent who can sprint as fast as you can, and has 25-100% the EHP you do. Also a speedy heavy in this case can make much more out of a logistics repair combo that is able to cover a lot more ground.
