Camp, Camp, Camp... If you camp an objective the enemy will always come to you, or camp some cramped space with poor line of sight.
I played two Skirmishes (I know, poor sample size) last night and I ran with an advanced Basic Heavy suit.
I just got lv5 biotic upgrades and enhanced Kin Cats so I wanted to try them out. I put one of them on with an enhanced Armor Plate and an enhanced damage mod and a basic Shield Extender. I used the MH-82(?) and did pretty well.
I didn't beast, but people tend to forget about what's behind them and I managed to get the drop on some skinny twerps.
Just saying, Heavies need to be played like Scouts that can survive proto sniper rifles.
Hide in the darkness and creep up from behind then blast away. It works for me and I'm not even that great at the game.

Meh. I'm not knocking that play style but that's not my definition of dirty. It's more fulfilling to me to creep my largeness behind enemy lines, take out some of the redline snipers then move up and get to work before I get turned on by the rest of the enemy.
Also, one aspect of the Heavy to me is to be a distraction for teammates to rush objectives. I die A LOT but I'd rather die a bunch and win than survive and lose.

Don't mistake me, I'll take any advantage I can get (That's within the limitations I place upon myself) but the LLAV isn't inconspicuous.
I like to surprise people with the last thing they'd expect which right now is a fatty that snuck up behind you, had time to dance around and then blasted away.
It's only a matter of time now for me to sneak up behind a group and eliminate them all before they realize it.

LLAV trick is the dirtiest tactic going right now.
You can hop in and out instantly, and the damn things are near indestructible.
Is it dirty or cheap?
Again, I'm not knocking that play style, I consider it as legitimate because you can still be shot out of the LLAV. And I don't buy into the eBushido so do whatever you can to win.
The way I see it if you're in an LLAV you can just bull rush the enemy line and do business, so it's playing dirty in the sense that you're momentarily virtually indestructible which is always fun.
If you sneak up behind the enemy in a Heavy suit you'd be playing dirty in the sense that you're intentionally playing with the weakness of the suit to eventually play with the strength of the suit.
And you don't have to walk to sneak up behind people. Sometimes I'll call out a dropship, fly it to the ceiling and the bail when I feel like the enemy has advanced enough to only leave snipers near their base. Or sometimes I call out my Baloch to race to an objective and ditch it before I reach my destination so that momentum carries the LAV past the objective to confuse enemies.

Meh. Scanners only work if my tactics don't.
And if it happens enough I'll just play your game and switch to Scanner AR/ScR Commando.
Or resort to Forge sniping. I'll find ways to adapt...
