hello all
Easy fix is don't let damage mod stacking at all or you can make the stacking penalties like 90% per stack.
giving logi's only side arms with out dealing with the damage mod issue will just have proto scram's doing crazy damage and more wining on these forums. |

no. that's not the way to fix it.
no role should have a penalty for using a module or weapon.
if a heavy wants to use a shotgun or nova knives, then goddammit let him use them!
if a scout wants to tank 850 hp, then he has a right to!
same with logis. i agree, they need a nerf, somehow, but this is not the way to do it. damage mods are for everyone, even logis, whether you like it or not.
Tell me, how exactly DOES a biscuit gain Valor?

These kinds of 'fixes' are so stupid...next someone is going to suggest making it so the logi can't sprint.

you mis read me sir I am saying if you stack damage mods then there is a penalty of 90% it is now like 20% the penaity on the module is already there just not as high as it needs to be |

I actually like this idea, I also think the penalties for stacking armor and shields should go up as well.
You can then give the assault a free complex light weapon damage mod in its suit skill without it being broken.

Honestly, take away the default 5/hp rep.
OR Give all suits a default rep bonus. Either or is fine.

all of you don't get this I am saying no suit can stack not just logi .....I PLAY LOGI I don't need to run with only a side arm what is the point of making me not be able to defend myself because some of you want to use the suit as a slayer. I want my AR you send any role into combat with just side arms and you weaken the team |

What about making the assault bonus 1% damage increase per level ? Would that make a lot of this slayers leave the logi suits for the assault suit?

Don't nerf logibrethern because of the Killer Bees. That's not the way it should happen. I think Killer Bees should be a viable option. Just not the BEST killing option.

Violating core mechanics of the system to make sloppy 'fixes' is just not a good idea. There are a couple very eloquent suggestions out there that don't do these band-aid fixes that dont force abnormal mechanics.

Try some maths people. Stacking damage mods is really not all that OP, using 3 complex mods (unless ur a sniper or forge I guess) is not better than 2 and a complex shield extender. It's probably closer, but even 1 with 2 complex shield might be better as well.

I'm a Logisis, but I run around as a Killer Bee sometimes, just because.

I get it. It is STILL stupid. All stacking penalties use the same formula, making it different for one will just confuse and disorient.
Besides, it isn't Damage mod stacking that breaks Logis, stacking more than two is a waste of ISK and slots.

What the hell are you even talking about? How can a scout have 850 hp? Mini scout that is. Then if it's a 850 hp scout, why is it even a scout. It's just another suit trying to be an assault with an AR. Goes w/o saying that once you allow 850 hp on a scout, no scout will ever choose to use red pills, dampeners, amplifiers, shotguns - because why use stuff that barely works when you can have the Assault + AR easy mode?

CCP nerfed the Cal logi suit to dicourage the assault logis,but those of us that play a support logi were stuck with a subpar fitting. Please put some thought into this issue before you do another knee jerk reaction that will futher reduce the number of mercs running as support logis that try to help their sqaud/team. |
