Sorry, bro-ham, but I needed to have that quote all by it's lonesome. I've got respect for the messenger, you, but I had to have that on it's lonesome so that I could put it in my sig as my code.
I really am going to need it soon. I've heard talk of nerfing logi WP (somehow) and that WP cap on EVERYTHING I DID AS A LOGI that prevented me from getting anything for doing my job in the thickest of battle is what convinced me to take a long break from Dust. Worked out because it was removed, but now it might be coming back.
I am sure CCP understands that Logi is not OP. There are plenty of people who play logi that just have a ton more sp than the majority of the qqers and it can quite clearly spell out to CCP what is going on. If not then they are blind.
I would like you to watch
this video and show me an assault that can achieve the same HP, damage, and versatility.
It's OP. Sorry.
So people keep throwing this video up as an example of why Logis are OP. I watched it and broke down the kills below. In short, the stars lined up perfectly for him. Not taking away from his skill, because he clearly has some, but look at the suites he engaged below to see what I mean.
He did not engage a single suite above STD, for real, not one ADV suite the entire Game. In fact, the only suites he encountered above 500 EHP were the heavies. The kills below show suite type and EHP where I could see them. ':||' is a repeat symbol and the number following it indicates where that suite was first killed. For instance, kill number 5 was the same suite as kill number 2. The 'x' indicates they were engaging him (most he killed before they new what hit them).
It should be noted that had he not used the ScR overheat bypass at kill 47 his streak most likely would've ended there. Which 46 would've still been impressive.
The reality of this video is not the OPness of the GalLogi, it should be maybe be a matchmaking WTF, and definitely a view into would it would look like if you dropped a 20mil+ SP Merc into an academy battle. These guys were just lining up for him. Out of his 49 (50, I think he got robbed of one on the end game screen) kills only 10 actually shot back.
The bigger question I have is why the hell are that many starter fits running around in a FW battle?
