Man. With so much positive feedback about Black Eagle scouts and how fun they were, you decide to make it an Aurum-Money-Grabbing concept instead of something that would be actually valued by the community?
Super great. I'm done with this game. I've got 19 million isk, who wants it? |

I'm sorry, I almost split it between you guys but I know that you've got enough Corp support. He's a DS pilot, we all know how broken vehicles are and will be :P |

Reav Hannari wrote:Funny, a business trying to "grab money". Man, I hate these free trade capitalists. Next they'll say they want to pay for their servers, rent, power and even their employees. Why should employees be paid? They should work for free and eat scraps from trash cans like us poor players.
I should go see what games the communists are offering...
That's not the point. They basically turned the event into a marketing device. The intention is wack because it speaks of their priorities for the game. That suit would be better served by being part of the incomplete skill tree rather than an Aurum concept. I don't mind supporting Dust, I was giving them anywhere between 20-50 a month since I've started playing.

Quote:The Black Eagles is an interesting suit. I'd like to see it for sale on the regular market but their marketing people have very little to entice people with at this point as it is. Hopefully it'll become available soon and something else new and interesting will be used to leverage cash sales.
That should be addressed. They have plenty to entice players; they vastly underestimate cosmetic aurum items. Customizing colors on dropsuits, merc quarter upgrades, etc. They don't even have to communicate the value of the cosmetic items to a good portion of their customer base, these are people who would drop more money on cosmetics than they would combat gear. C'est la vie.
I'll wait until 1.8 to start playing again. Hopefully the F2P model improves along with the mechanics of the game. |

See, that too. I would be more 'okay' with the Aurum sales of these sort of items if we had a market place that exchanges isk for Aurum. |
