Don't get your hopes up, 1.7 will probably be nothing more then two new assault rifles and vehicle/av rebalance. What I do know is if they don't nerf forge tower sniping vehicles will still be useless in competitive play. |

This is exactly what I am expecting. That quote earlier in the Vehicle Blog saying "...we will have more shiny toys for you to play with..." or whatever was probably only pointing to the two new weapons, which we should have had a couple patches before (everyone remember them getting pushed back twice?).
I really don't expect anything large from this patch at all. Every time CCP hypes things up, they end up a complete joke. For a lot of people, 1.7 is the last straw, and if it isn't the best patch this game has seen in awhile, then Dust 514 is going to have another dip in player count.
I know they will add some map stuff (like always... yay...), but if they add anything else substantial that they haven't hinted at already, then I will be VERY, VERY suprised.
P.S.: If CCP added the LP store and faction variant weapons in 1.7, I would **** bricks, and then open my wallet up instantly to buy some boosters.

I do not know what to expect from CCP Foxfour-¦s upcoming dev blog... 
CCP Foxfour has always delivered though, and because of that, he is one of my favorite DEVs.
I hope that soon FW will matter, make sense to the EVE lore, have interesting rewards and that PC will matter in a similar way. This is actually what I believe keeps me around and what has made me endure the last few patches.
