Yes you said it right. We need the right plan. We need strong leadership that is fair and wise. We also need players, who are not among the officers of the corporation, to understand their own roles within. It must be structured from top to bottom, with respect all around.

Who would make good directors? Who's a good people person that would do well in the recruiting aspect? What requirements should be put in place? Proper resolution plans for those days we have some infighting? Who can we talk to EVE side that would support our corporation?

From what I've been gathering, there are very few corporations interested in a Caldari corp. Most people who are loyal to Caldari either have a CEO dedicated to the cause but some members have been seen fighting against our allies and us. Or some members are dedicated to the cause and other members within just play whatever faction they want.

I am speaking with a CEO of corporation (I won't reveal now who) is interested in working towards the Caldari effort. But I must make it clear to him that absolute loyalty must be...absolute. We cannot allow such small minors as unruly corporations undo what we are starting to build here. Not implying his is unruly. But we just briefly spoke and I did not have a sit down with him and hash things out. We just had a quick conversation.

I've been getting more responses from individuals who are interested in the Caldari corp than I do whole corporations themselves. I encourage them to come here and talk with us. I have received in game mail from a couple of mercenaries who are wondering if the Caldari corp is going to happen.

Possibly we need to just create one or start filling the ranks of a corporation already created. An already created corporation could entice players to join if they see us wave the banner. Of course, it goes without mentioning, that the already established Caldari loyalist corporations are not under the consideration of recruitment. In other words, I'm looking to pull in players who are separately pursuing this goal who want to join us.

A unified effort brings folks together once they start seeing popular names or "locals" of the forum have the same corporation title underneath their mercenaries IDs.

So I will continue randomly getting into a squad with random players in FW and sending the message across that a unified effort is underway and they should join us.

Agreed about the CEO and maxed out skills. That's why I said SP is a factor here. To be perfectly honest with you, I think mercenaries of New Eden rather the CEO comes from Dust instead of EVE. There's that gray area that some might not like since they are not of the same group.

It's like going to a military bar and you're a Marine seeing a bar full of Navy guys.

Overall, you're thinking exactly what I'm thinking. That's my idea of the corporation. That it will be a coalition of Caldari loyalists fighting for one cause. If only we were able to have some leniency in this matter and have the ability to be involved in two corps. I know some mercs are willing to fight for the Caldari and help but they might be comfortable in the home corps. Alas, we can't have it all.

I believe a training corp is necessary as numbers grow. At this time, the distinction cannot be made clear. What I mean (stand by, I'm gathering thoughts on how to express this clearly)...I think a training corp will be ahead of the game since this is the start of the corporation. I want to get guys involved first and then once we start to get the gears turning and mercenaries begin showing their skills, we make the call then. The one thing I want to avoid at all costs is the arrogance- I'm way better than you, disruptive attitude that the elite corps show time and time again. I see that alot with elite corps and its a big turn off.

Sorry if I seemed to go off on a deep end there. I just don't want that kind of childish stuff happening with this corp. As far as "policing". Maybe selected individuals police the corp? Have our own set of spies in a sense that are able to ween out who are loyal and who are not.

What you think? I'm open to suggestions and comments on what I posted.

I wholeheartedly agree about the corporation's wallet. We DO NOT want it to be a bank account for someone to just line their pockets with.

That is the plan, the future to hold a democratic senate. May our veiws remain in the best interest of the Caldari. Let us unite and take back what is rightfully ours.

Pryde: One last thing: EVE skills work differently that DUST skills. Ours is not "you get the SP's and use it all at the same time to get the skill", it's time-based. I can train a skill while offline, but it will take TIME. Example: When I first got the Corporation Management skillbook, it took 8 minutes, almost 9, to train to level one. So, it might take me several days to max out my skills. Also, I can't do more than put a skill down if I have a all 24 of the next hours used. I can do something like 30 min, 1hr, 2:30, 8hr, 3days, but nothing more than that. Of course, some skills take longer than 3 days, I saw a rumor of a 60 day skill, so there is that.

So, with that, I will train the Corp skills as fast as I can, but it will take time. I will tell you when I'm capped out.

Also, one last thing: Are we going to join an Alliance? Or make our own? Or simply join the Militia? That is something I will need to know as "CEO", since I can do all three. I will join the Militia with the corp, regardless, for our Capsuleers, but the other two need answering, at least. For the State. o7
