ensure you have not had your memory altered by templar command or any other empire affiliated group.
i only recently discovered my memory alteration when the legion was conducting a background check and discovered my time with the sisters was not how i remember it. after a number of tests and a few unpleasant days questioning the discovered i have had false memories implanted, also i had a dirty 1st gen implanet still active in my clones which does not help matters but i was told i could not upgrade was also a lie.
so after a quick upgrade to the latest implants and close....very close.... observation i feel great, no more nightmares or strange dreams no more random mood swings no strange voices that i assumed was the empress etc.
the Legion has kindly given me a home till i decide what to do and quick history lessons on my past. turns out i was a templar renegade at one point :\ but this has strongly shaken my faith in the empires how far are they willing to go on the people that showed them the most loyalty.
well iv given the empires a middle figure i will happily take their isk but thats as far as my loyalty goes. i fight for myself and i implore any other member of amarr empire to ensure he has not had any strange brainwashing going on.

Steadyhand has come to the conclusion most of us do at some point. Faith, or at least trust, melts like ice in the sun when the realities and expediencies of the four factions come to the fore. |

Our situation is full of unknowns. Much of the technology behind us remains mysterious. Even though the empires no doubt know more about it than we do, it seems likely that there are things, many things, they do not understand.
There is a lot at stake. It should be no surprise if the empires-- one, some, or, probably, all-- have put our personal autonomy and happiness secondary to their need for more information.
A question that is bound to come before many of us over time is whether we trust our empire patrons, not to look after us individually, but to make whatever sacrifices are demanded of us "worth it."
I look forward to watching how this plays out across the empires, and whether some tend to answer differently from others. As a hypothesis, it seems as though individualist cultures, such as the Gallente, should react more negatively to empire experimentation than those more comfortable with the idea of the greater good.
There is a Caldari saying: "The Winds care about us, not about you or me." |

I cannot pick up a rifle either..... however I still have my Faith....I just don't know who I want as my comrades in the field.

i know your a good soul and my faith will likely stay true, my faith did not betray me, those who acted in its name did. i always questioned how the amarr empire acted in the name of the faith and this has strengthened my resolve to seek out and punish all those who abuse others in the name of the faith.
starting with anyone who ever mistreated their slaves and bloodraiders i can get my hands on

Duty?!?! Have of what they told us was a bold face lie. I mean look at the edvidance the empress is a freaking clone!
So how can it be duty when it's nothing but a lie. Can finally see why the matri got so frustrated.

Steady, the truth is what you can prove. That doesn't mean we ignore our intuition and I think you've got your head on straight.
I see the war between the Gallente and Caldari as an avoidable misfortune of epic proportion. Im Caldari and Gallente blood in equal parts and served Ishakone before becoming a private contractor. I've seen the lies and brutality that the Gallente Feceration and the Caldari State weilded against each other...often from the shadows with men like us. Nothing is entirely as it seems.
You are now the owner of a rare commodity in this universe - freedom. Use it well.

As a side-note, Templar Steadyhand, you could do a lot worse than to associate yourself with the Legion.
They're solid people. Of course, being a Caldari loyalist, I might be a little biased, but seriously-- they're the best-regarded mercenaries in the cluster. If you're looking for a baseliner organization to associate yourself with outside the big four, they're probably a good option. |

Well, I've been on the other side of a firefight or three. Their interests aren't always aligned with the State's, after all.

I've had the unfortunate pleasure of facing them on a personal level rather than a professional one.
Mordu's kind to those he values. Cross him or the Legion however and he can shift into the most frightening man in the universe. Admittedly, they were a driving force for me to press myself through the immortal program in the first place.

please dont call me a templar i dont deserve or what that title anymore. the legion has always been good to me, right back when the immortal programs first started i got on well with them, im not stupid enough to think they're just being kind they clearly want somthing to. but they seem to treat their people right. i can't outright join their unit, but i might set up a corp aligned to them as subcontractors or somthing.
might ask a few of you to join me on a mission too in the next few weeks, iv been held in for a week or two more to make sure my implant is behaving :)
