DUST Search - Are we getting more weapons in 1.7 than CCP have announced?

Also in the Dev blog posted today about the Black Eagle Friday event; there is a picture of the Black Eagle suit holding the Ion Pistol! There are probably more subtle hints dotted around the forums and dev posts which I haven't yet seen.

What do you guys think, are we getting an early christmas?

Hoping CCP fixes that plus addresses fall off damage on some other weapons.
