Insta killing is NOT ok. Not even a Dropship should be insta killed by my FG.(2hits should be fine, giving him time ti flee or take cover, i mea it is 6 SECS after the first shot XD) But with Modules Running , a MAddy wont fall to my breach FG doing MASSIVE damage even with 2-5 shots. All this time, im unprotected (I dont tower camp) and vulerable to Tanks,DS, and other Infantry.
Now. I do know i HAVE insta killed tanks. I wont lie. But they are MLT tanks. I do agree MLT tanks need to be less effective , but similar in resistance to STD tanks, same as MLT and STD dropsuits are alike (bar of 1 slot ,but equal HP)
I kind of,see you point. Nothing should INSTA KILL a vehicle (except MLT/STD LAVs), but considering the weapon im using, the proficiency, the 2 Cx dam mods, and running a HEAVY... i think DS: 2 shots LLAVs: 2-3 shots STD - MLT - SLAVs : 1 Tanks MLT- 2 Any other tank- 2+
This , WITHOUT modules....
IMO that is.

Your doing it wrong use an assault you shoot 2 shots in the time it takes a breach to shoot one and between the 2 shots you do more damage it's only useful for 1 shooting DS and shield tanks.
Im not doing it wrong. I prefer 1 Shotting DS and LAVs because aiming a FG depending on the distance and my location might be troublesome. an ISH ASSAULT FG will never 1HKO a DS/LAV unless its a MLT without modules. And after the first shot they are VERY likely to FLEE leaving me without a vehicle destroy.
I've been doing this for enough time Benjamin, have some faith.

The weapon IS designed to be a HARD hitting counter vs Vehicles. And thats how it should stay. Its a piece of crap outside hitting LAV's and DS, because a Tank can activate its modules and flee , and im stuck there with a charged shot with nothing to hit.
XTRA NOTE: That the BREACH FG is ALSO the one with LESS SPLASH DAMAGE and Splash area,so even infantry sniping takes some skill...

Most Vehicle drivers kill something once and assume its always easy. as someone who plays solo a great deal of time, AVing, WITH a Breach FG, vs Corp squads,vs Good vehicle drivers with well fitted vehicles, ITS NOT EASY.

Im not saying it Should. IMO you can have a Breach Rail gun (Turret) , with Same or MORE damage, same Splash radius some more splash damage. Suit yourself....
Also, you can Have the 5+ Sec per shot RoF and Wont be able to move while shooting.

You do realize that shields have a base resistance of 10% against Forge Guns right? Yes, but the best shield tanks have 40% resist and 5.5k shield with 10% reduction that's 50% damage reduction. A Wykiromi breach proficiency, 5 two damages, and a rear hit will drop the shields by more than half on the best tank, on an average fit it wil insta pop it or come very close.

Thats not how its done. Most good tankers i have issues killing ABUSE greatly Terrain and Cover..... To an Extent i can only hit them only ONCE before they are already behind cover.
Then there are the ones that wait to play MANUS PEAK and run around in circles in the middle of the map. LOL. U dead.
AGREE. FG should be rendered a LOT better for tankers (this is a top priority CCP) And Swarms should NOT be invisible.

Yup because Infy= King Infy don't want to play realistic games where Artillery bombards tanks and soldiers alike, they don't like playing games where helicopters can gun them down in droves before they can pull out that RPG, or a tank can thunder through cover to flank them unexpectedly. They also apparently don't like Tank turrets doing proportionate damage or having advanced targeting features.
I cant answer since i didnt understand.Remember my main language is NOT english. So no need to be sarcastic, you can say the stuff more directly.

Then i Completely disagree with you there. A Proto BREACH FG should 4 Shot ANY tank.AT WORST.
You have Modules,speed and Cover to avoid death.

This is not True. A person that has ONLY a Proto AV weapon is not going to do very well vithout the passives, a good sidearm, Damage mods, Proto Dam Mods, at Least ADV level Dropsuit, AV grenades and at least lv 1 in nanohives. (Heavies might pull through while tower camping with a STD suit and ADV Forge gun.)

VERY,effin,FUN. infantry stomp all the time, why cant tanks? double standered, if the enemy has any pro the match is already lost but with tanks and less enemy's hacking and going indoors
